Persepolis Blog 1

My first impression on persepolis is that it is an okay book meaning it could of been better. I like the fact that there are many pictures and things that don't actually bore the reader. If this book was an autobiography like other people would write with only words and no pictures to explain, I wouldn't even read it at all because I really don't want to read about someones life. This is also is a good book because it gives her opinion and what she had to deal with, in the Islamic Revolution. She didn't life to wear the veil, if this was done in our modern time, the women would react the same way and maybe even cause destruction just to get their freedom on what they can and can not wear. That is exactly what her mother did but she had to dye her hair since she got caught. With all this going on, Marjane decides she wants to be a prophet and help change the world and god is on her side since she actually talks to god and has conversations with him.

Final six memoir

                                                         Paris? Italy? to bad i'm poor.

           I wrote this six word memoir because ever since I was a kid I wanted to go to these beautiful places. I would see Paris in tv and see how cool it looked when it lit up. How big the Eiffel Tower was, or how good the food looks. One of the movies I saw was Ratatouille, It showed how good the food looked and how pretty the view was. Then there's Italy, which is very romantic. It has all these wonderful rivers that flow all throughtout Italy. Italy is famous for this rivers since you can cruise around the rivers and see the excellent architecture. I really hope I get to achieve this dream because I really want to go. Most people might say 'oh I want to go to Paris' and all this other stuff but do they actually go? That's why I am kinda taking this goal seriously, and explore new parts of the world I never been to.

Whale Rider Review

     

       Whale Rider was a very interesting movie. It had key points in that movie that people can use in real life. For example, Pai would never give up on her dream on being the next chief of her tribe even though her grandfather wouldn't actually train her because of her sex. She had to learn on her own and with the help of people that actually supported her like her grandmother, and her uncle who taught her how to fight with the stick. At the end of the movie, Pai let her grandfather know that she was ready to be the new leader by getting the whales back into the ocean. No other person was able to get them back in but Pai did. The grandfather realized that she was the one to be the leader after that so he finally accepted her.

Travel

     

        
Have you ever wanted to Travel and explore the world? I know I do, It is like my life long dream to go around and visit every place in the world. Not necessarely the whole world but main points. Like Famous monuments or beautiful looking places like paris or italy. Ever since I was a kid I've always like to explore and see new things. The thing is that only places I've actually been to is Mexico, Phenoix, Arizona (I passed by the Grand Canyon), and Las Vegas, Nevada. Some key places I would like to go to is; Paris, Italy, New York, Barcelona, London, San Franscico, Washington D.C., Florida, Egypt, and the Bahamas. I know this will be expensive but I really want to go to these places. Let me tell you, when I want something I try my hardest to achieve my goals. I know I might not go to every one of the places I named unless I become a millionaire but I sure do want to visit at least most of them.
